ALL HALLOWS ARE LOOKING TO RECRUIT FOUNDATION GOVERNORS

Working closely with the Headteacher, the main responsibility of the governing body is to determine the aims and overall conduct of the school with a view to promoting high standards of educational achievement. The specific duties of the governing body include setting staffing levels, setting and agreeing the school budget, ensuring that a broad and balanced curriculum is delivered, as well as monitoring health and safety and the management of the premises. It is also of the utmost importance that our Governors fully support the Catholic ethos of the school. Please note that to become a foundation governor you will need to be a practising Catholic.

If this varied and important role is something that you are interested in, please contact Gemma Perkins (PA to Headteacher/Clerk to Governors) gemma.perkins@salford.gov.uk for further information.

All Governors of All Hallows RC High School are required to complete and sign the Register of Personal, Pecuniary or Business Interests; the register in hard copy form is maintained by the schools Clerk to Governors.

Declaration of Pecuniary and Business Interests 2018/19, 2019/20, 2020/21 and 2021/22.

This document is a declaration of any personal or business interest that our Governors or any relative or person closely connected with them, have with businesses or other organisations that may have dealings with the school. This could include owning or having a relative work for a business that had dealings with school; having a relative working in or for school and/or being a governor of another school. If any interest a governor has could be seen to cause a conflict of interest they would be asked to withdraw from any decision making concerned. This is to ensure that our governors can always be seen to be putting the interest of the school first.
