KS3 Spanish 

All pupils start learning Spanish in Year 7 where they have one or two languages lessons per week.

At the end of Key Stage 3, pupils can choose Spanish as an option and have three lessons per week.

All language lessons include a variety of resources including text books, authentic materials, interactive activities, games and songs. We encourage pupils to be confident linguists,regardless of ability. Pupils are tested in four skill areas of speaking,listening, reading and writing. We teach grammar and vocabulary in topics such as:

• Self and Family

• Leisure and Media

• Home and Daily Routine

• Home town and environment

• Education and future career

• Tourism
